COVID-19 Vaccination Update

Dear Residents, Families, and Friends,

The COVID-19 virus continues to present a health threat to our community, especially to those age 65 and over.

Therefore, the CDC recommends that persons 65 years of age and older receive the latest 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccination, with a second dose administered 6 months after the first.

Some may experience mild side effects from the vaccination, which could last a few days, and commonly include:

Fatigue
Headache
Muscle pain
Chills
Nausea
Fever

During the month of April, Broadway House will hold weekly COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics.  The Infection Control Committee of Broadway House strongly recommends that residents, resident representatives, and staff aged 65 plus consider this recommendation and receive a second vaccination dose for themselves and their loved ones.
