Every day, Elaine Brown seeks to make a difference in someone’s life. Ms. Brown touches many lives as Director of Nursing at Broadway House, subscribing to a simple guiding principle: “There, but for the grace of God, go I.” Ms. Brown says, “I am impressed with the many people and organizations that deliver the very best care to Broadway House residents struggling with HIV/AIDS. The inspiration comes from within me to do my absolute best when it comes to our residents. At Broadway House, we leave no stone unturned.”
A graduate of Essex County College and Thomas Edison State University, Ms. Brown has worked with the US Army for 15 years as a civilian Health Technician working alongside active duty military men and women in the US and overseas. She was also a Medical Assistant for over 25 years before starting her nursing career, gaining a wealth of knowledge that provides the foundation to make sound changes that will benefit Broadway House residents.
