Broadway House was the recipient of the Silver Award from the New Jersey Department of Health for the second consecutive year. Announced in early December, the award recognizes top performing healthcare facilities for maintaining high standards for antimicrobial stewardship.

Established in 2019, the New Jersey Antibiotic Stewardship Program requires facilities commit to stringent guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to improve antibiotic use, advance patient safety, and improve outcomes. “This Silver Award—our second in as many years—reflects the high standards Broadway House maintains for the safety of our residents,” said Rodolfo Munera, MD, Broadway House Medical Director.
