NJBIZ has named Broadway House for Continuing Care one of the top long-term care facilities in New Jersey. We’re honored to be recognized in the Long-term Care Facility category in the 2021 Healthcare Heroes Awards, which recognizes companies that provide exemplary, innovative care for their residents.

In addition, Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs Lois Beatty, BSN, RN, was one of five nurses in the state named Nurse of the Year by NJBIZ. The award honors nurses whose job performance is considered exemplary by patients and peers.

Broadway House President James Gonzalez, MPH, FACHE, LNHA, said, “For more than 25 years, Broadway House has been focused on serving the needs of those individuals who require specialized long-term care for their complex medical conditions. We are honored to be recognized for the world-class healthcare we provide to our residents. In addition, I am particularly thrilled that our Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs, Lois Beatty, has been honored as Nurse of the Year. Lois’ longtime commitment to the quality of care for our residents is an important reason why we received this award.”

Ms. Beatty noted that for her, nursing has been a lifelong calling: “I’ve always wanted to be a nurse. I knew when I was five- or six-years-old that I wanted to be a nurse. So I’m very excited to be recognized by NJBIZ.”
