When Gloria Horton, CSW came to Broadway House for Continuing Care in 1995, she sought to be of service to the community where she was raised. Since then, she has remained steadfast in upholding the facility’s mission to provide outstanding care to residents of Newark and the surrounding area. Mrs. Horton says, “At Broadway House, all are welcome, regardless of race, gender identity, or socioeconomic status. Our residents remind me through good and bad situations to stay in the fight to make a difference for the next community member who comes through the door.”
Mrs. Horton earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology, with a minor in sociology, from Kean University. She is also a Social Work Field Instructor at Rutgers University.
