As an undergraduate nursing student, Roxanne P. Fraser, MSN.Ed, RN, was fortunate to meet a nurse who was working with HIV/AIDS clients. That sealed Ms. Fraser’s decision to find a way to serve this vulnerable population: “After hearing her stories about not many centers having the ability to care for this unique population, I wanted to contribute my knowledge and learn more. This isn’t a regular nursing home. Our clients range in age from 20 to 101. Most are independent, but still require some sort of nursing care.”
Ms. Fraser has been a member of the nursing staff at Broadway House for Continuing Care since 2020. She earned a Master’s in Nursing, with a certification in education, from Walden University, where she is currently pursuing a doctorate in nursing administration and family nurse practitioner.
